Hey CL,

My drivers side speakers have no mid-range at all. If I use the fader to play audio just from the front you can hear that the passenger side speaker sounds much fuller and clearer while the drivers side is dull. How many speakers are on the divers side in an '00 GS300 with pioneer unit? From what I can find online it looks like its just a woofer and a tweeter, but I swear I can hear both working. Could the tweeter be shot and only playing quietly? Has anyone ever heard of poor wiring in the drivers door that might be causing this?

I guess I should look up a guide and remove the door panel and see what I can see.

 

The mids are gonna come from the speaker in the door, not the tweeter. Weird that it would be going out like that though, could be an amp problem. I've never had a stock system, so I suppose I cant chime in much other than these 50 words.
