Okay guys. I'm relatively ignorant when it comes to this stuff, and I really need some help. I have a 98 GS400 with the stock Pioneer system. It's just not doing it for me. I want to upgrade the system. I'll start by replacing the front door speakers, then possibly the rear door speakers, and lastly, if necessary, adding a subwoofer in the trunk. With respect to the front door speakers, I'm looking for suggestions as to brand and model. By searching old threads, I've learned that the front door speakers are 5 1/4. I've also learned how to take off the door panels, so I think I'll try to do the job myself. Can anyone make a few suggestions for good to excellent replacement component speakers? If possible, I'd like to keep the stock amp. If I have to change the amp, I think it will be much too complicated of a job for me to tackle. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Thanks, guys. Will the stock amp adequately drive either of those brands of speaker? Are there any specs I need to know about (other than the speaker size)?
