So usually a "professional" injector cleaning is done thru the hose that goes into the brake booster, right? And the other end attaches into the intake manifold. But I don't see one of those hoses on the GS300... how can the injector cleaning be done on these cars?

professional injector cleaning is done on a machine. take your injectors out and get them flowed. whatever it is youre doing doesnt work. im gonna guess youre gonna sea foam it eh?

 

I've done it on many cars, it does work. Runs a lot smoother afterwards and You can see the black smoke it produces during and after the cleaning... that's what the machine goes thru too, through that hose...

 

so that hose from your booster that you want to put the liquid through to clean injectors...how d you suppose it goes through the injector? lol. wouldnt you think it would have to go into your gas and then through the injector?

sea foam could help clean out soot from your xhaust side. but then your 02's are in danger and so is your old catalytic.

Ha well of course to clean the actual injectors you'd need to do it thru the gas tank. I guess by "injector cleaning" in my subject line I meant more like "manifold cleaning" and stuff, where gunk gets built up. And thru this hose is basically the only way.

 

What you discribe is basically steam cleaning the cylinders, water will have the same effect. FYI, any vacuum hose will work.

This does practically nothing to clean the intake manifold or injectors...

"Manifold cleaning" is done at the machine shop in their parts cleaner or at home with brushes and solvents.

If you have a can of Seafoam just put it in your gas tank, I like Redline products for that though...

Do not use seafoam.!!!!
Yes it will remove alot of gunk from your eng out through the
tail pipe and all that gunk will get stuck on your catalytic converter
and clog it as well as your o2 sensors.

What i do is
remove the injectors pour seafoam in a container and let the injectors soak in the seafoam for a few hrs and they
come out looking lke new
