Fixed Speedometer! YAY
So I have posted before that I had an issue with my 02 Sport Design. ABS, VSC, and VSC lights on the dash, and the speedo was not moving and the miles were not moving either. So I took a jumper wire, and with the key in ACC, I pulled the short pin out, jumped E1 to TC on the diagnostic port under the hood, pumped the brakes 8 times really fast then took out the wire, but back the short pin, started up the car and drove it and BAM. Fixed my issue for the speedometer and odometer. They increment just fine. So I have speed and odo back. I also hooked up a Altec scanner to my car and cleared the codes. But the ones that remain are ABS, VSC, and VSC off. The codes read
C200
C205
C210
C215
and C1223 (fault in ABS system)
Basically all 4 wheel speed sensors. But how can that be? How can I get those codes and even a "fault" in the ABS system if it is working properly? I know for a fact that not all of the ABS wheel speed sensors are bad. If any, it would be the front driver side, at least, that's what a different scanner and the previous owner said. Any one have word on what I can do?
