I can manually turn it on. but once you open the door it doesnt go on. I changed the whole assembly and still no light any thoughts? Thanks and the drivers side works when you open the door the passenger side is bad!

if fuses were out driver side wouldnt work. try reversing the polarity (flipping the bulb)

And what would this do if mrrhr4 has a regular bulb and not led?

Check the door trigger sensor.

It could be your door switch.

My drivers side passenger door when open makes the dome lights flicker (led's) but every other door is just fine. Not sure what it could be

Most likely its the door open/closed switch is on the door lock assembly. It seems like this is becoming a issue with these cars as they go up in age and I suspect they give trouble also from lack of use....ie. not opening/closing the door often

Mine two back doors took a little while for the light to come on after opening, and after 'exercising' them a bit, they work more times than not now.

The unit is sealed however so its a lil hard to change, but not impossible....there is a write up here somewhere showing the switch used and how its done

Remember too guys....an aftermarket alarm would not go off if your light doesn't come on(providing the bulb is good) as it will not get a trigger from the door switch indicating the door was open/breached

You could try but even if it works it wouldn't be a permanent solution.....It helped in my situation as it was my back doors that never got much use, but it still gives trouble now and again.
A permanent solution would be either to change out the whole assembly in the door or open it up and change out the switch itself somehow.
A sure way to tell if the switch is the problem to start with will be to take off the door upholstery, get to the smaller of the two plugs that plug into the door lock assembly and bridge the two wires(harness side), thus simulating that the switch is closed(on) and this will cause the bulb to light. If it doesnt your problem lies somewhere else.

Are there separate fuses for front and rear doors? Like for the little door lights... Mine dont come on when I open either of the rear doors either. They lock/unlock ok and windows go up and down but just the little lights don't come on.
