Another GS300 AC problem
Hi guys,
First off thank you for all of your help with previous members. I've been working on my problem for 2 days now and your older posts have been very useful.
I have a GS300 that's not cooling the air. The heat works but no cold. Here's what I've checked so far.
Checked for low freon and found the PSI at 100.
The compressor will stay running as long as AC is on.
The soliniod that moves the arm under the glove box when you change from heat to cool works.
I discharged enough freon so the pressure sensor disengaged the compressor. Filled it back up and it re-engaged.
The only thing I noticed that might be worth mentioning is the 2 silver pipes that come in under the glove box that are tied into the AC system are EXTREAMLY hot. Also I have a P0446 error code an although I've found one other post of someone with this issue and that code they were advised that the code was unrelated.
Any other ideas?
