2JZGE Issues help if you can.
I'm posting this to help a friend who is having some issues with getting this thing to run right.
Any and all help is appreciated.
what its doing
It idles above 2k if it drops below it dies.
If it revs to 3500 it just dies no sputter it just shuts off.
I have a new distributor and maf i have tried different tps, igniter and coil.
My fuel pressure is around 60psi and is moving volume like it should.
I have deleted the egr system as well
the harness was cut at the body,fuse block and some other plug
and i had 2 codes for the intake air temp and the maf but i found the ground from ecu to maf had Resistance but i fixed that and now it has no codes and still runs the same
what im working with
the bottom end is from an 04 vvti na 2j
top end and harness are 94 supra
ecu is from a 92 sc300
