I went to car toys to see if I could install a double din deck into my '99 gs, they said something about the wiring and other stuff would cost over $1000.. but ive seen plenty of gs's with aftermarket stereos.. does it really cost that much or are they trying to rip me off?

I paid $160 to have bluetooth streaming through my factory audio system, you could go even cheaper and pay like $60 by going with the cheapest GROM audio adapter. It's extremely easy to instal as well.
