never. all you do is spray a little and let it air dry. just dont spray it like you are rinsing off wheels with a water hose

I've used it a dozen times or more on my 3 Lexus vehicles with no issues.

I have also used it on my car about 6 months ago and have no issues. I will say it scared me that on the back it says not to use on Lexus but I read that everyone uses it so what the hell. Worst case I have to buy a new MAF sensor. But hey....no problems so whatever.

yea in the sticky forums under maf cleaning other people had the same concerns but one cl member found information that the warning on lexus cars was referring to gs300 1993 and below due to their maf sensor being the karman vortex style. us 1998-2005 are good to go

This is partially correct. 98-05 gs300 have karman vortex. The cleaner warns not to us on these. The gs400/gs430 have hot wire mafs so you can use on them.

I used it twice in two years of owning my 1998 GS300

No problems at all for me.

I have a hot wire on my 400, used it with zero negative effects...

Brake Cleaner= DO NOT use it can melt plastic

Throttle Bottle Cleaner = DO NOT use some have oils in them

Guys it's perfectly safe to use Cnc Maf cleaner it's ok, I've never heard one bad story about Cnc on a 300...
