Hey guys, I have a 98 lexus gs300, and the ABS & TRC & VSC computer just went bad. I need a new one a soon as possible and was wondering where i should get one. I know the dealer will take advantage of me and not even buy me dinner, so i need a verified, dependable, aftermarket replacement. Thanks.

 

You should make sure it's really bad by diagnosing it or getting a second opinion. You're not going to find an aftermarket replacement. You'll need to get one from a junk yard or search the part number on ebay.

 

What codes are you getting?

 

Junkyard is the first place I would look. But Im with Tiger on this one, get a second opinion on it

 

Hmm......Im thinking alternator is going out....just a hunch though.

 

How do you know it's bad, and what are the symptoms?

Pretty rare item to have an issue with.

Being a 98-00 it's more likely your having Nitrogen Booster or Yaw Calibration issues making someone think its the ecu..
