Default What is this noise?

I notice this noise inside the cabin on extremely cold weathers but now I think Im hearing this noise everyday. (Dunno if its because its been cold everyday). This noise increases as I accelerate and when I decrease my speed down to around 20km/hr then the noise slows down and stops when the car is at a stop.

Here is a video of me attempting to record the sound (turn your speakers up a little bit to hear the noise, its a high pitch noise)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjZDy...ature=youtu.be

Towards the end of the video when I let go of the gas you can hear the noise slowing down.

Any ideas?

This has been getting posted a lot lately, I can't hear it in the video but I'm assuming it's like a loud whistling type noise? Mine does that as well as it seems a lot of 2GS owners when it's cold outside, I've heard on another thread that it's from the differential.. I'm going to try changing the fluid and see if it helps

Damn, I tried my best to catch the sound. Its slightly easier to hear it towards the end of the video when I let go of the gas where the pitch of the sound starts to drop.

And yeah its kinda like a whistling type of noise but its also twirling/whining, I have no idea how to describe this actually ... I hope its only a cold-weather thing...
