Hey guys. I bought is200t last year, currently it's around 9k miles. I noticed there's whine noise once I step on gas when speed is above 40mph. You can feel the noise when pressing the gas a little harder then softer to make it change pitch.I know this turbo car comes with whine noise, I can feel it when start the car at low speed. But this noise is different from that, it's tiny and sharp. I don't know if this noise existed before or not. I went to dealer, they compared my car with another is200t car. It turned out that car also has this kind of noise.
I'm just wondering is this noise normal? Let me know how do you feel about your is200t. Thanks a lot.

Pay attention to the end of each boost. Turn volume to max, check 00:04 ~ 00:05, there's whistle noise

When you go higher speed the Turbo kicks in thus make whine noise thats normal ! When my TRD Solara Supercharger kicks the whistle noise occur, if you want quiet and smooth ES or CT is what you want. When i started to drive Direct Injection Engine, the tick tick chick tick chick noise made me nervous. The IS350 has the port D4S injector makes constant tick tick noise.

My friend 2017 Nissan Juke Turbo, 2014 Genesis 2.0T, 2017 Mustang Ecoboost i drove them all, makes same whine noise. Mustang Ecoboost was interesting.

Sorry, I tried to record the noise. Since the noise is so tiny and sharp, I can't hear it from video. I tested several times, I can only hear it on the driver seat.

Thanks bro. It seems turbo cars all have this issue. When my car is in high speed, I can hear the noise(yeah kind of like whistle) as long as I step on gas.

No prol@m, All turbo cars or supercharged are like that, i like Turbo but they don't make IS350 Turbo 3.5L Direction Injection Lexus Engine does have a mile whistle noise at 4-5K RPM, it's because of high compression D.I.E, don't you worry lol your car is a new car just enjoy your ride and Modding.

I hear the "click" you are talking about. I've never heard that noise in my 200t.

time 00:04 ~ 00:05 if you turn your volume to max, there's a whistle noise. So this is normal??

I hear a clicking noise at :03...not sure if it's something else or just the video. At :04-:05 I hear the turbo and blowoff valve which is normal, BUT it is significantly louder than mine which is all stock.

OP, did you install an intake or after blowoff valve?
