Default Super Noob Needs an Answer

So im looking to do a 2JZGTE swap into a 2000 Lexus GS300 2JZGE, but im wondering what else do i need besides the motor and tranny? if there is a post that shows this I would love the link.

Well i know im going to need an ECU as well but is there a list describing every item that is NEEDED?

If I was looking into doing a swap, believe you me I would be doing a lot of READING and RESEARCHING. Lucky for you there's a lot of info on this forum from other people that have done different set ups.

look under the build threads GS and SC forums... you will usually see a list of parts that the member has listed and used... Also under "advance Search" will yield some good results as well as Google

thanks fellas, i work at a dealership so i might have some help there, but ill be looking, if anybody could give me a few DIY threads it would be greatly appreciated, and ill do some searching of my own

make your life easier when doing this swap by having a sleeved wiring harness and not the crappy plastic casing that makes diys a headache sometimes

well i was looking into it and how much cheaper would a NA-T setup be?

its def cheaper ive read about it as well, dont know a exact number but it has most things not everything youll need for the build and its simpler....need a good turbo manifold and obv a good turbo depending on your power preference

well i would like to spend roughly 2k on a turbo if that is a good ballpark price, i would be doing the work myself so less parts the better
