Either way - I need to do this in the not-too-distant future.
I roll will not cause it to buckle/dimple man. The buckling/dimpling is caused when pulling the fender.

I don't know, man. Do a search and you will find quite a few people who experienced dimpling when rolling the rears. I plan to cut the rear to be safe.

don't flame me for this but will a dremmel do the job of a trim on the plastic piece on the edge of the fender? or just remove it by removing the screws

Humm that's weird it shouldn't happen, I've rolled fenders for years and I don't recall dimpling fenders/quarter panels by a roll and only car ever dimpled was mine as I pulled the rears about 40 mm

Is it easier to pull rears with it being shaved man?

Just by the screws man I believe there are 4 and the plastic trim comes right off then just a dremel the shave off the lip.

Wish I would have found this earlier... dimples on my roll. Could a dent repair guy possibly fix them? Is it possible? Anyone able to get their successfully fixed?

Any good body shop can repair the dimples... had to have mine repaired when they dimpled while rolling them.

Thank you! So you had your rear fenders rolled too?

Do you mind me asking how much it ran to fix and how does it look now?

I've been rolling fenders for years part time..

If done right, and with lots of heat and some patience.. the paint/fenders should never dimple or crack! I personally have never shaved fenders but I would imagine it would weaken the fenders and open up the possibility of rust without being touched up with paint..

Wassup guy! Going in for paint next week but don't have the setup I want right now! Current is stock suspension and 245/35/20 8.5 front and back. Would like to go coilovers and stagger setup. My question is...What width are yall rolling and shaving? I want to run 19 ' s with a 9 front 9.5 rear and slightly tuck the sidewall. Thanks in advance.

My fronts are rolled/slightly pulled and my rears are shaved. Unfortunately, I can't give you an estimate as I had a lot of bodywork and paint done during all at the same time.

Whether it's needed and how much is needed will all depend on your setup. I have 9.5 +12 fronts and 11 +30 rears.
