Yeah just one thing at a time, will probably get under it Monday and see what is up with it.
That's the spirit bro. ONE THING AT A TIME = THE GOLDEN RULE. We all been in that predicament. Repairs ain't easy. But luckily, we're in the RIGHT CARS. These GS cars are very reliable, solid, and worthy. You'll fall in love with it after a while. Trust.
Nah my Integra is just for fun now, but like most things I'll move on. I have some sentiment towards it as we have been through quite a bit together and it had never EVER left me stranded no matter how hard I beat on it. It's been a good damn car.
I feel the same about my 98 Civic hatch. Never left me stranded at all. I'll never part with it. I went from the hatch to the GS430. I love both tho.
Finally got under it, looks like the oil pan is the oil leak culprit. Doesn't seem like a big deal except the bolts towards the back of the pan look like a *****.
Also got new hood struts so no more wedging something in the bay to hold the hood up! Because you cant look gangster working on your broke down Lexus with a baseball bat holding the hood up ya know.

I'm glad to hear your problem is solved bro. If the bolts look really bad, take a trip to your nearest Lexus dealer and just buy em all brand New. Lube em up before installation and enjoy a good piece of mind. Clean that bad boy up and take some pics! Any other?s please don't hesitate to ask my bro!

I meant the bolts towards the back of the car look like a pain to remove. Probably use a ratchet with a flex head, IIRC they should only be torqued down to 16lbs.

I know what you mean bro. I'm replacing my cats+o2 sensors+all gaskets on my exhaust soon.. I purchased all the bolts+ nuts to the whole setup just to avoid that little problem! Man I hate working with rusted and eroded stuff! I'm a meticulous, I want everything new kinda person. Sewellparts got everything to get the job done my bro!
My mini-vci cable came in the mail finally. Going to get the software downloaded and throw it on the car in the morning. Found a great Toyota/lexus mechanic (good reviews on my local car forum) and Im going to have him do my TB, water pump and oil pan gasket. 600 bucks seems like a pretty good deal to me, then I wont worry about my Acura being torn apart until it is finished. Also need a new windshield now as the chip in mine decided to finally crack across the front. Luckily it is pretty low on the windshield so it isn't really in my way.
