First off, welcome to Club Lexus

How do your doors lock with the lock button on your driver door, can you lock them all with no problem? Also, can you lock them all by hand with no problem? Possibility that an actuator is going out and the car is attempting to lock or unlock a second time. Other possibility is that the cable has gotten loose from one of the locks (most likely the driver side) and not allowing the door to initially lock the first time. I have that problem because the plastic ends of the cable on mine is broken and I have to do a little trick to get the door to lock properly. When I dont do it, the car will beep 4 times (2 attempts) and usually opens after that second attempt. Theres a lot more to the issue, but too much to type. Too bad you dont live near by and we could figure it out

Also, you may want to try and reprogram it and see if its just the remote. Do some searching on your problem, there are plenty of thread about this on here as well s reprogramming instructions.

I noticed the back driver door won't lock from pressing the door lock buttons or from turning the key in the driver door. All 3 other doors work fine. So you think that could be the problem? Bad back door actuator or broken cable?

Thanks for the reply.

Its not the cable that breaks, its the plastic housing that mounts to the door that breaks. Theres a thread on that here.
