Just bought a 2000 GS300, so far this is like my 16th car came from dsm's eclipse and talons. To hondas, last was audi, n a infiniti. Need advice know nothing about this brand just liked the car got it for $2500 with 176k miles. Done some work to it but needs more if there any good mechanics you recommend or weekend mechanics that can be recommended. I am in jersey union county area usually around RT. 22. Here a list of some of the work I've had done.

*Both front brake calipers
*Crossed drilled slotted rotors all 4
*Pad all around
*2 o2 sensors
*18" rims I had from another car

Check the front and rear control arms, end links, the front lower ball joints are known to go bad and pop off at the worst time, on the front suspension that is. Aside from that, if you have any power door lock issues there are write ups for that on this forum.

New myself but those are some of the issues I checked or am facing on my GS400.

Thank yea i already changed both front control arms, i still hear a clanking noise when i hit a bump my mechanic said it might be my lower sway bar bushing. I keep getting a check engine light that goes on and off its reading code P0753 transmission solenoid. I noticed also my idle a little low and and sometimes when i give it gas feels like it doesnt want to takeoff I need to fine a mechanic that works on these types of cars in my area.
