When I can, I like to do things myself so I know that the job is done right. Last week I finally got tint put on my car because it's hot as ***** in Louisiana. I don't like the look of tint so I went with Llumar Air 80 blue which is kinda expensive. It's rejects heat like limo tint but it's 78% VLT as opposed to 5%. Anyway, I was cleaning my carpet today and found this under my front seat. Two plausible explanations:

1. The installer was using this as a squeegee and forgot it in the car.
2. They broke this off of my car and tried to hide it.

I'm 95% sure it's #1, because I can't find any damage. Anyone have an idea if this came from the car, inside the door maybe? The piece is rubber is about 7.3 inches long, 1.7 inches tall, and about .6 inches wide.

I used Air80 on my truck. Love it. Looks like a squeegee or it could also be a piece of the flux capacitor located behind the glove box next to the blower.

Ok seems like a consensus. I'll have to return it to them when I past by their shop.

Llumar Air 80 ftw! I also have it on my GS and love it.

 

Man I saw the top part of that picture and thought what the hell did they spill on your carpet.

 

its a tool used to remove water/air bubbles from your tint.
