I'm assuming you sprayed the engine? Just let it dry and see what happens. Maybe even disconnect the battery to reset. Its probably nothing, dumb ***

Its just a guess that the vsc lights are only only because its part of "limp mode" due to the misfire. I'd focus on the misfire. Check and see if somehow water got into the air/fuel system. check around injectors, check in the air box and the spark plugs. The only places i can think of that water could get in.

Dont know why you touched the cables together, good way to fry something with the charge stored ANYwhere in the car. Did you keep them off for a good 15-30 mins? (I think it usually takes like 5 to reset, the more the better)

I will take them off and let it sit for a while, I took the covers off the top end to check plugs etc. but all is dry there.... Like I said I just gave it a quick spray... OK on limp mode that is what I suspected..
Thanks again

Just for fun, check your ABS computer up on the top driver side corner by the windshield. Small possibility that a little water got in those plugs, however if that were the case, I think you'd get that buzzing from there. Doesnt hurt to check though.

Just let it dry out. Leave the battery disconnected for a while. You should be fine.

Checked the ABS and every plug I could get apart & left the cables off long enough to have to reset the seats . Still missfireing badly. Guess I'll let it set overnight & hope for better things in the AM. Looks like the motorcycle may be a option for Mon.AM commute but Burrrrrrrr
