I recently just got the iJDMtoy DRL (http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9005-LED-Da...d_sku45_r1.htm) I'm trying to install it but its not working, but when I pull back on the high beam switch it works? I also put the halogen bulb back in now my drl doesn't work only when I pull back on the switch. what can be the problem?

 

Pulling back meaning your High Beams are turning on and not the DRL .. isnt our DRL the little bulbs in the high beam housing and not the same bulb as the high beam bulb ?? Correct me if i'm wrong. hope you figure out the solution.

 

Does the LED not come on when you just turn the switch one time ?

 

thats odd, mine worked right away. are u sure you wired it up properly. resistor on one side, then draw power to both bulbs from the other

 

The DRL is located inside the high beam housing in the Corner.. Its been replaced with Polarg M4's or M6's.. or any LED 194 bulb.. hope that helps

 

^^^ DRL are the 9005/hi beam bulb. The 194 is the "city light" that comes on with the parking or headlights.

Yeah, I went on there website and follow the diagram. could it be my DRL module went bad? I also checked all the fuse and its fine...

 

so your drl halogen drl doesn't work? did you check BOTH fuse boxes, there's a big one close to the battery, AND and smaller one on the drivers side. When tired the CRAPPY V LED it kept blowing the fuses in the smaller fuze box on the driver side, I don't remember exactly but I think its the DRL or one of the light fuses. I would check that.

I finally got it to work...I just clean some connections and flip the harness where the bulb plugs in and TADA haha thanks for everyones help!

What are you using for the 194 bulb/ city lights I want to get those to match when I turn my headlights on
