E-shift Lexus GS300.
While driving about 45-50 mph, if you shift from 5-2, will you peel out or screech tires? Could have sworn I heard screeching tires today from the GS but not sure

I don't think it is in your best interest to quickly shift from 5 to 2 with E-Shift. I have read that switching through gears too quickly using E-Shift is not great for the transmission.
Regarding your question: I do not think that you would be able to burn rubber just by shifting down from 3 to 2.
Also, I don't think E-Shift allows you to give the engine gas until after the gears have been completely switched. It's not like a manual car where you would give the car some gas as you downshifted in order to squeal the tires.
However, I am sure that it would be possible to simply get into 2nd using E-Shift and then floor it. You would probably be able to lose some traction that way.
