my official hello
how's it going guys?
hope i'm welcome to CL...
picked up a 98 GS400, 140k miles (high, but planning on rebuild),
17" chrome wheels, pearl white, 60% tinted, HIDs...
picked it up for real cheap.
let's say, cheap enough to put the SRT twin turbo kit on it and still be under some going rates on 98 GS400s
lot's of reading to do for me.
looking to first change the exhaust...
upgrade to 6000k HIDs
lower and upper braces
TRD sways
Tein Flex setup
Volk or Work rims 18x8.5 in the front, 18x9.5 in the rear
L-Tuned body kit
any suggestions?

Welcome Terry, congrats on your new GS!
If you don't already know about it, there is also a local Chicago Lexus forum (not sure where in IL you are) you might want to look at from time-to-time. http://www.chicagolexusclub.com

Welcome and congrats!!
I also just picked up my 98 GS400 2 weeks ago. Got it off a private owner for $22,500. 60K miles.
Got it for my wife but she knows I think it's mine
Been busy up to my ears putting mods on it since I got it. Was bone stock when I picked it up. 2 weeks later and I'm getting close
to completing my MOD list.
Again CONGRATS!!!

Welcome aboard Terry. Car enthusiast are always welcomed, especially Lexus ones.
Looking at you mod list, you are in luck as the TRD sways just came in with Steve Ganz. He should be on your short list of people to contact about parts, Pretty cool guy to talk to.
Try him:
CL handle: SUPRATRD
email: gonzo4u@earthlink.net
Phone: 1-800-908-6968
Good luck.
