lower ball joint problems

Default lower ball joint problems

I went to change my lbj yesterday the drivers side went fine but the passenger side has a almost stripped bolt any suggestions on how to get it out??

Remove the UCA bolt from the arm, remove Speed sensor to allow you to completely move the arm completely out and cut it off with a cutting wheel.

Then how do u get the rest of the bolt out?

Just like was said above. Cut whatever you have to cut to get the damn thing separated.

I understand cut the head of the bolt off but the bolt threads into the knuckle how do i get the rest of it out once the lbj is removed

Dont cut it off, did u try pb blaster? Brw what lbj brand did u go with?

I tried everything im bout tempted to just take it to my local mechanic and let him do it then let him align it btw i bought moog lbjs they were 132.96 after tax at the parts store

Damn bro, I just ordered mine last week. Sorry I didn't read your thread in time. I could've saved you some $$$. I just ordered both my MOOG LBJs and MOOG outer tie rods for around that total price you paid. Brand new. Free shipping. Off eBay. Here's the links for the LBJs for further reference:

Thats a good deal i kno i coulda got them cheaper online but then u dont get a warranty that they will stand by like a parts store

Wow ive seen them all over the internet for $35 a piece, oem is $75 a piece...
