Dr. Rick...I sooo sorry to hear about your accident. Like everyone else, I'm glad that you are OK.
I don't want to sound insensitive, but as you may know I'm a big car safety fanatic...Do you have photos of the car after the wreck? I'm guessing that the safety cage held up well since you made it out OK. Also, did any of the airbags deploy? At what speed did you crash?

Haven't been on CL for a few days but just came across what happened.. Like everyone said cars can be replaced but you can't.. Thank God you were in a well built car like the GS or you might not be here with us.. Saw the pictures on the other thread and WOW is what comes to mind.. Take care dude and get well.. Don't let the insurance company screw you over!

Don't sign any release form for your insurance company that has anything to do with your physical health without an Attorney looking at it. Because if you suddenly get head aches etc you will not be able to make a claim. Check with an Attorney that works on these types of cases. Companies such as ALLSTATE have been fined for getting people to sign their rights away by saying you do not need an Attorney.
