Default What is up with these "Curses"....

It's like a disease, it got into me too

So I was just exiting my house going to fix the RX that was left in a plaza near by (dead battery) and as I was driving, I spotted this girl in a Cavalier from about 200 feet(?) away in a bank driveway. So okay, she should stop before exiting right? since it was a pretty steep driveway anyways. WRONG! She pulled out and made a right... I stepped on my brakes (was going about 20mph) and honked so long. I guess her reaction time was slow and never stepped on th e brakes and hit me at about 10mph.
If only she
1. looked left and right before going out of the driveway
2. stayed on HER lane when she made that right turn
3. stopped when I honked
I have a witness, this guy that always sits in his girlfriends car outside my house everyday but forunately today his gf parked where the accident happened. He told me something like "that sucks man, I always see you wash that car".
I am a little shakened up, this is my first ever accident

The one and only one piece CF grille is A-OKAY!

Headlights gone

My aftermarket HID fogs!! I hope it is still alive.

Funny how out of all the damage, I went to check the rims first. A-OKAY!

Crappers.

It looks so bad, but it's (hopefully) all cosmetic. I hope you get your car fixed soon...

The verbal estimate was 3-4 weeks at about 4k worth of damage. I am expecting it to be more because the estimator did not see the bent fender. I went to a local but high reputation body shop, she said it was okay to have it done there because she knew people who worked there... cool.
At first the girl wanted to pay out of her pocket and says she gets paid every other week at minimum wage... uhhhh...

At least it's not as bad as some others I've seen. It looks fixable so it'll be good as new. With all the curses going on, I'm going to be extra careful...good thing I drive slow (also a good reason to save gas too).

So are you going through insurance now? If so, shouldn't you get it fixed at Lexus? I'd be afraid her "friends" would cut corners to save her money.

Sorry this happened to you. Women drivers !!!! Just kidding, but I drive like a guy anyway lol.

Also, I wish everyone would stop calling it a curse, I'm getting scared! Creepy coincidence that's all!
