Default 2gs smokes... what could it be?

I tried the search button to no avail

I have a 2gs that blows out white smoke within 10-15 minutes of driving, when at a red light it doesn't seem to smoke but when I hit the gas pedal it blows out the white smoke. When the car is left idling for 10 minutes or more (in park) it stops smoking. So my question is why does it smoke while driving and not when its at idle? Btw it has a new head gasket. Needles to say im a noob and any help would be great! Thanks.

Black smoke - rich condition
Blue smoke - burning oil
White smoke - burning coolant

And when I say white smoke, that's not to be confused with water vapor we see in the mornings during start-up.

I assume you blew a head gasket and the motor was dumping coolant...
Then you or your mechanic did an awesome job in the repair.

Most likely there is coolant in the exhaust that still needs to be burnt off.

If it idles normal, drive the car till the steam stops.

It took my MK3 Supra over 20 minutes of steam driving around to burn the coolant from the exhaust.
