Are you using a Line Level Converter?

You should be grabbing the signal after the factory amplifier. Therefore the color wires may not necessary be the same as these - http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...tail/1277.html

Depending how many inputs your line converter has, I would grab full signal from a front and a rear speaker. Then use a separate crossover or the one built into your amp to split out the signals to the speakers and subwoofer.

HU -> Fac. Amp -> Line Converter -> New Amp(s) -> New Speakers

i have a processor right now but ive used loc before to get signal to my amps.

i used two locs. a 4 channel one for speakers and a 1 channel one for the sub. i got the signal from the factory amp. which is directly behind the glove compartment.

there are 2 wiring harnesses on the amp that contain the necessary wires for all four speakers and the sub as well. just tap into those. but there is definitely a separate signal for the sub that u can grab to get better sound quality. if not u can grab the 4 channels from the factory amp and then grab the subwoofer signal right from underneath the sub in the trunk.
