2002 GS430 w/ Nav

It doesn't show the current temp on the screen. Both the temperature sensors on the dash are working fine.

Any idea's ??
They wanted to pull the whole navigation system out just to diagnose the problem. $$$

 

There is an outside temp sensor mounted under the crash bar behind the bumper cover. Pretty much directly beneath the a/c test port/sight glass that is beside the driver side high beam when you pop the hood. If this is bad the car won't know the temperature differential between interior and exterior.
