Default Hi from half around the globe

Hi guys i am a pretty new member, living in germany and i simply love how much care you put in all your rides.

i bought a 2001 gs430 sport in englang about two months ago for the steal of 4000$ and 120K on the clock. Silver on black with blackwood intereur.

Since we are allowed to drive a little bit faster then you do, i have no use for demon camber VIP so the suspension wille be more close to a Nürburgring (60miles from my door) setup but a little luxury and VIP wont hurt for sure.

Right now it sits on fresh coils and Varrstoen 1.1.2 in 19" will arrive next week.
The weekend will bring a double din Pioneer Navi and new speaker all around and a couple of pictures for sure.

So i hope to have a good time here. Cheers!

Good point, but isn't it rare to buy now unless someone is selling an used? I'm wondering if he bought it brand new.

Thank you !

Whas is an I tune gs430??

The lip and a 2" lower tte suspension was OEM on this car as it is a "Sport". Well at least the included bruchure tells me so.

I wonder why you guys are so mad about the tte Lip when there are so many cool bodykits availlable in the US. But then it looks worlds better than stock ;-)

By the way knows anybody a place where i could buy a steering wheel boss for my Momo Wheel?

congrats on the new ride and welcome to CL!!! Since you're in Germany, wouldn't you be 1/4 way around the world? You mentioned you picked up the car for $4000. What currency is that if you don't mind my asking? Perhaps the british pound since you bought it in England? And a TTE lip as part of a sport package?! How come everyone else except the U.S, market always gets the cool stuff?

@ veritek

it was 2800 pound around 4000$. the cheapest at pistonheads.co.uk was 1800pound at that time.
The english have been severly hit by the finance crisis. Skylines, Soarer and all the other cool turbos start way bellow 6000$ sometimes a 1JZ equipped soarer goes for 2200$

@ clos430 i will contact my dealer how much they cost.
With shipping+tax i imagine it will be around the price of a Junction produce Frontbumper. But i will check that.

Nobody got an idea for a steering boss Kit?

Wow, so you picked up your ride for $4,000 USD?! And Skylines for less than $6,000 USD?! Incredible!!! But shipping would probably offset the cost, not to mention all the customs restrictions.
