Default Hi Everyone

I just wanted to introduce myself. I actually joined this group b/c my boyfriend has a 2001 GS300 (hope you guys don't mind). We both are doing quite a bit of mods to our cars, but we don't have a home computer. I have a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire. Right now he has:
Clarion DVD head unit w/ headrest screens
6 12" subs
Alarm w/ remote car starter
Interior and exterior green neons
Clear side markers w/ green bulbs
18" rims (not sure what brand)
19" rims (not sure what brand)
Near future mods:
20" Spreewell spinners
body kit

Any suggestions you guys have would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Ditch the 20" Spreewell spinners idea and grab some REAL nice 3pc wheels.

welcome to the club, we always need some girls here

that's some nice setup there, so your bf is more into look rather than performance?

yeah, the sound he gets is amazing. there's a lot of vibration though, esp from the interior headliner. i know he was thinking about the s/c but i'm not sure if he really wants to shell out the $$. i'm not familiar with the specs on it, so i can't really say if i think it's worth it or not. i want to take it to get dyno-ed (my car club is going again in the spring) to get a base-line before he does any performance stuff.

Welcome to CL Allison.

It sounds as if you guys will be entering the GS into some shows if you haven't already. Sounds like you'll also be able to glean quite a bit of info from our Electronics Forum.

Post some pics of your cars sometime. We always enjoy seeing more Lexi.

i'm hoping we'll show it this summer. i'm very much into the show scene and do a lot of them with my club. my car will be ready to show this summer and i'm hoping to convince him to show his too. i'll get pics up as soon as i can get some (the weather has been really crappy here, so the car has not left the garage).

Allison,
Welcome to CL. Seeing you are from CT, if you are not far from the NYC area there is going to be a CL meet this Sunday, the 10th. Click here for the details Hopefully you and the bf can make it with the GS300. Good luck with the car and enjoy the forum.

Three of them are mounted against/facing the back seat. The other 3 are mounted in a false bottom to the trunk (facing up).
