My truck of my 2004 Gs300 is now only opened by using my key unlocking trunk lock. It wont open with the remote or from inside the cabin panel button. Has this every happenned to any of you guys. TIA

 

i am having a similar problem. but i cant open mine if i try and use the key. it will only work if i use the button on my key.

I'm having the same problem as well as of today. However check and make sure that you didn't engage the trunk lock inside the car below your emergency brake.

Yeah check the trunk lock, lol you might have accidentally pressed the little silver lock button, just unlock it with your key, its right above the trunk and gas switches

 

Yep, check the button because i had the same issue after getting my battery replaced. They had switched the button somehow.

 

Took my car up to the dealership $70s to fix the problem which was due to heavy pressure as in someone sitting on the trunk will cause the locking latch to get stuck. I had my RMM spoiler installed and noticed that I couldn't open my trunk afterwards then a couple days later it opened with no problem. 2 weeks later same problem due to me putting force on my RMM spoiler because the heat we had in San Antonio caused my double sided tape to lose it's hold in a couple spots.
