My trunk release doesn't open from the inside...now I have to open the trunk from the outside. I don't know if it has anything to do with the locking mechanism found under the steering wheel. I bought the car with one key and it's a duplicate. I should've checked it. Will the dealer have a way to unlock it so i could open it from the inside? Is this a common problem in our cars?

Mine just stopped opening from the inside 2 days ago. strange i would also like to know

 

Check to make sure you didn't push the lock button in. Just put your key in and twist and if it pops out then you should be good to go again. The thing is you can lock it without a key so you might have bumped it.
