Default Chrome surround trim removal??

So I looked through the main sticky and searched over and over to no luck and I'm pretty sure I just missEd it. Can someone point me in the right direction please on how to remove the chrome on the bumpers and doors. I saw it on an aristo and loved it. Going to try Plasti dip in white first to be sure I like it. Thanks in advance.

the chrome on the bumpers are just double sided stuck on, if u want to remove it, you will just have to slowly pry it out, it also slipps in about 5-10mm a bit at where the bumper meets the fender,

as for the chrome on the doors, i assume you mean the lower outer door panel, the panel is glued onto the door, and the chrome trim piece is attached to that lower outer door panel via clips.

I think you're better off with the plastidip than removing the trim it's going to have gaps on your bumpers and pen-size holes where the chrome attaches to your doors. Plastidip it and it will blend in for $10.

i used plastidip on mine about 3 months ago, it still looks perfect, definitely recommend that route, a lot easier and a lot less frustrating, go on dipyourcar.com they have a video on how to do it easily and properly.
