Default Odometer not working (2jz-gte swapped 98 GS300)

I picked up a 98 GS300 that had the swap already done (single turbo conversion also) and the odometer isn't working. I saw on one of the other threads (I searched, probably shocking for a new guy I know) that if the VSC lights are on that it could be the speed sensor? But I think they are on because of the swap. The motor is a non vvti supra drivetrain that I'm still working out some bugs on. Just wondering if you think I just need to spring for a new cluster or it's something I can fix. Everything else is working, speedo/tach, fuel gauge, and temp, just not the odometer and trip meter.

If it's not your speed sensors or your wiring, it's your gauge cluster

Vsc won't work and you need to wire up the speedo -- get the ecu Pinout for the supra and wire straight to the cluster. Assuming you're using the supra ecu?

Ya i know the VSC won't work, but everything else is working. I'm thinking the odometer is just bad and just need a new cluster.

search for the odo wiring 'trick' on here, see if you can compare. I'd help but I really dont have the time. If all else fails head on over to supraforums.
