Just adjust the **** on the top, dont need to unscrew anything as far as I know. Make sure you have the same number of clicks on both sides. I got Stance GR's also.

i guess you were twisting the **** really fast huh? just twist them till theyre actually tightened down and then SLOWLY (so you can feel the clicks) adjust it to your liking. thats what i do anyways

if you lost track of which corner is on what stiffness and youre not sure if theyre equal all u have to do is slowly click them to full soft and start from there. as to how the **** changes stiffness, it adjusts the internal dampning within by changing the valving

thanks guys! im gonna try adjusting both sides down to the lowest setting and then turning it about 8 clicks each side and see how it feels
and just to clarify... i dont have to mess with the springs on the coils right? because previously i had tried to adjust the spring rate and that resulted into mass confusion and utter failure...

how do you know which way is hard or soft? i adjusted it all the way to the left (if im facing the front of the car) but i cant really get a feel for the stiffness or softness just by twisting it

your best bet is to read the instructions that came with the coilovers,

different manufactuers have the soft to stiff clockwise while others are counter clockwise.

koni's were counterclock wise if i remember to get the dampening stiffer

teinss were clockwise to get the dampening stiffer

kybs i believe were at the bottom of the strut.

worse case scenario, turn it one way pretty much full, go for a drive, ull know soon enough what setting u have them on...

i got the same coils. left is soft and right is stiff. wheres your instructions? shouldve followed that. it recommends adjusting ride height from the bottom and leave the top portions alone at full height. i have mine at 8 clicks front and 9 clicks rear. i started off from the lowest setting and adjusted everyweek till i liked the feel.

thats correct you DONT want to mess with the springs. they come preloaded from the factory. if u already tried to adjust the springs then u need to reset those as well. u want the springs "captive" meaning the spring doesnt spin freely. so have it loose and tighten it just enough to captivate the spring, no tighter no looser
