Problem is the gs is too slow to seriously drool along with M series and AMG Mercs unless you spend some serious $$$.
VIP is much cheaper with an instant nice look.
And especially in a Country where your are only allowed to drive 80 on the Highway i understand the popularity of VIP.
I drive my gs regulary about 140-160mph on our Autobahn and there is quite a gap int the suspension between a Lexus and a M5.
Yesterday i installed a set of coilovers (Bilstein PSS9 Nürburgring edit) an still it doesnt feel as "safe" in fast curves.
I think you mean my car? Body kit = Job Design

As for speed and high speed handling, I have exceeded an M5 on all counts.

Don't ask me how I know, but <140mph has been achieved on some occaisons

Thumbs up! --> Rmmgs4

Btw, Selfmade your comments did not offend me. Nor was it my intention to offend anyone. My build is for me. Not to impress anyone or live up to someone elses vision. I take alot of inspiration from others on this forum, jefftsai's and rmmgs4 are big inspirations and I've learned alot by reading their threads. Thanks fellas...lol

smuv GS3, that blue is nice, with the CF hood and eyelids. That's a nice look. I like the stance too, usually see those wheels on TONS of VIP rides but looks good on yours. I like the matching blue container behind your ride. : )

Smuv, are those wheels AME ? I'm looking to buy a set of AME CX wheels....19" ! LOVE the staggered...siicckk!
Nice choice on paint, too. I'd seriously trade my '01 430 for a GS400 in Spectra Blue in a second! haha

iforged wheels = SIIIICCKKKK!!!! Love em, man. I just saw a TON of them at (one of the biggest) shows we have here in PA- at Carlisle's (Performance & Style show) last weekend.

Did you have to shave your fenders ? It looks like you did and wouldn't HAD to, so they clear the lips without rubbing?

NICE WHEELS...(and BRAKES!) Car looks awesome.
I just installed the Sage RCA's and LS400 BBK up front... with EBC Redstuff pads (all around)- OMG ! Stops like a Porsche now, compared to OEM. haha

That pic with the eyelids, with the lights on make it look like a BMW, the way the headlights curve.
But Sweet Ride man!

please post more race/track inspired gs pics. after all these cars are called "grand sport" (GS) for a reason.
if you want in the fisher-price my first vip kit business with speedaddic and myself, let us know

Thanks. I did shave the fenders in the front and rolled them. There is no rubbing anywhere. If anything my bumper will hit the pavement before I rub on dips which sucks soooooo bad! The price you pay to play low. The wheels barely clear when turning. No rubbing whatsoever, every now and then I think i hear something when going up or down a step driveway but could be my imagination. The rears have been shaved and will likely go with a wider tire when replacing them like a 295 or 305 / 30. Depending on the brand I go with.
