Default Front side markers

In Australia we don't get the front side markers. I like the look and want to install these.

Could someone please post a pic of the USA front bumper showing the cut out. With dimensions if possible.

Or a template that I can trace onto cardboard.

As we have side blinkers, I am going to hook these up to the parking lights. Will probably go clear to match the other lamps.

Opinions welcome.

Cheers, David

I wish we had your bumpers here. I shaved the side markers to get rid of them!

I hate those side markers. I actually had mine painted black with the rest of the car.

I'd rather have the side markers than the headlight washers that are on the euro bumpers.

The jdms have bumper poles and no side markers. I've never seen a oem gs bumper that had none of those at all that hadn't been shaved after the fact.

Me too, funny how that works. I remember 1IS guys putting on JDM antennas and Japanese Altezza guys wanting the US antennas. Sometimes we're all just trying to be different than the masses I guess.

Vscalais, you should order a set of side markers from the classifieds or ebay and make a template. Much easier then trying to make one based off of measurements.

I completely agree.. you should just buy them and trace it around a piece of paper, cut it out, and play with where you want to place it on the bumper. It gives you something in hand to work with.

Yes, exactly what I have done. Surprised to see square mounting holes though.

And yes, I wish I had a roof mounted radio aerial. Funny how we want what we dont have.

Now has anyone got an l-tuned steering ECU for sale please?

Regards, Dave
