Default Removing studs????

How hard is it to remove the studs to put extended ones.... Looked at mine when I put on my spacers and it looks like 2 of them are cross threaded.... Did a search but came up with nada.... Is it easy enough to do yourself or is it a shop job or is there a way to just rethread those??? Thanks for the help ahead of time...
