Default need some help on which spacer to use...

I'm looking at the ICHIBA 25 mm spacer for my LS - I see that there are two versions, VI and VII - don't really understand the difference between the two - it appears that VI simply bolts on and perhaps VII attaches differently? Having trouble figuring out which one I need - both are the same price.

Thanks for any help.

Nevermind - Just figured it out...thanks

Version 1 gives you a spacer and extended studs. The extended studs are so that when the spacer is on, you have sufficient threads for the lug nuts. This requires removing brakes and hub to remove old studs and install longer studs.

Version 2 is a spacer that bolts on to the hub using the existing studs. The spacer has studs pressed into it so that no pressing of studs is necessary, it is the easiest form of the two. Since it is 25mm's you wont have a problem fitting your wheels as well.

In order for you to use the VII, you have to make sure ur wheels have the sufficient slots for the nuts. It should look something like this, an not flat in which you can only use the VI.

Actually, as I believe Mr. Doback was referring to above, "Since it is 25mm's you wont have a problem fitting your wheels as well." The 25mm version would have sufficient depth to sink the mounting nuts so that they wouldn't protrude from the spacer. The 15mm spacer nuts would stick out.

Thanks all for the help - and I'll def. count my threads... I'm still a bit confused on one note - I used to have a GS430 and I ran 25mm spacers by H&R on the rear - ran them for over 100K miles with zero issues - I wanted to go back to H&R but for some reason, it appears they don't make them for the 01 and later LS - only the LS400 - but they make them for most other models - anyone have a guess as to why that is? thanks
