VAPC 18x9 wheels. JDM from '02
Posting this to share my experience restoring old set of 18x9 got free from my buddy.
installed to show pix. The color came out slightly darker then i preferred. I reused my 3GS center caps and those are lighter. It is still growing on me. May consider getting ISF center caps; cuz those look like the new fsport wheels come with it.
Took my car to get the tires flipped from '06 GS430 18x8 onto this set of VAPC JDM 18x9 wheels... at least for now!

got these from a buddy and had them powder coated for a fresh look!
These wheels are in queue to be mounted when i flip my tires. i'm currently on the 3GS 18x8 wheels. Maybe in another 6 months i'll have these mounted.... with my 3GS center caps!! :thumb up:
and probably then... i'll have my 3GS 18x8 powder coated the same color Black Chrome Powder.

Ahhh sorry no other pictures as of yet. they have been stored away. waiting for my tires to get some more camber wear... so i can flip the tires onto these wheels. LOL.
this finish is pretty awesome! don't got a fancy camera but maybe i can shoot some pix when the sun is out for you.
