Default Light on dash

A really simple question please?

Does a light show on the dashboard when you turn on your parking lights and/or headlights? Not the high beam blue light, but a yellow light indicating that your lights are on?

Cause mine does.

Thanks, Dave

there is a headlight/low beam on indicator on the dash in the area below the temp/fuel gauge pod.

there is also a highbeam on indicator in the same area.

whats missing is an indicator on the dash stating your fog lights are on.

When headlights are on, that green light on dash is suppose to be on.

Mine is green, I never knew this indicator can be yellow. Maybe you have a bulb that's out and your light out indicator is on.

Are you speaking about a yellow indicator on the left side of your cluster. If so I believe thats the lamp failure light. Either you have a bulb that burnt out or the unit went bad. Their is a DYI to shut that light off. If I'm wrong correct me pretty new to the GS.

Almost all the newer models had the indicator light for the headlamps but ive read that it could be a sensor near the rear end but that's all I could find

Anyone deal with this?

Default Light on Dash

This is a pic of the dash light in question. Is it the headlamp indicator light, or the self-levelling diagnostic light?

The reason I ask it that this light comes on when I turn on my parking lights.

Thanks, Dave

I don't think it should matter where the car is from the lights should be universal in color I think there is a difference in symbols but green indicator lights are good reminders letting you know these are on and yellow indicators are warnings letting you know hey check on this and i think the only red ones are for e-brake and no seat belts. I don't think there is a self leveling indicator light just the warning light for them if there's an issue with them
