iphone hardwire to Navigation GS430 2004
I've been looking to connect my iphone to my nav system in a hard wire format so it sounds as good as playing a Cd. The FM bluetooth gadgets just don't sound clear to me.
I'm hearing that my year 2004 doesn't show text display on the nav. It just list tracks 1,2,3 and so on and you can't tell what songs you are playing... unless you control it from you phone/ipod.
I was wondering if anybody knows of a system that you can manage from your touch screen nav system that will work with the 2004?

I just bought the Pioneer AVIC-X130BT. This has built in nav and when u hook up the iPhone/iPod you have full control of of your music trough the touchscreen. You can scroll through albums, artists, songs etc. it even shows album art covers. But you need the CD-Ui51V to connect to the unit.
For my other car I got one of those cheap tapes with the wire and headphone jack to connect and a windshield mount so it's easy to control.

I found this site but i talked to earmark car stereo and they said it only has tracks no full text read outs...
