On the home frm thanksgiving grub we pulled over to make the baby a bottle. When i went to open the trunk ... First thing i thought was Upgrade Time. Inner tails are faded... I've done the amber delete on these 98 tails already and am 100% satisfied with them. But if i get new inners or tint them red they prob wont match the outer lights.
Depo Leds and led lic plate lights looked great from the other CL member istundra's recent post... Done deal.

not sure if you want to mess with your tails but what I did was I went to a local hobby store and bought candy red transparent spray paint, taped over the clear sections of my outer tails and matched both my inner and outers. Afterwards, I gave it two coats of clear coat.
Its a deep ruby red now and looks awesome even after a year!

if i wanted to save some money. i would actually consider this instead!!
I find myself working well with wet application and then forming with heat gun.

Nice... Thats a good option. Wet app is fairly easy... I blacked out my cts tails and those tail lights have some funky lines. The gs lights seem easier since its just rounded off

I like the red out option. Im prob going to get the depo leds and still red out the stock lights. If i decide to sell or trade them atleast they'll be ready to go. I ordered the red out film ... Test out how i feel about the outcome b4 goin led

too funny. Just got my GS300. Showing it off at Thanksgiving at my sister's. As I'm leaving and driving away I get a call on my cell. . ."did you know your reverse lights are on as you are going forward?"
Time to order some red out film. . .

Lol - yeah buddy thats super faded... I never checked till recently. And i always check other gs when we pass in the rear view. Jokes on us ... Get the film unless ur better with a can
I used the transparent candy apple red on my inner tails and then used VHT niteshade to smoke all 4 of the tail lights. I am the only one that has noticed any difference.
Before I did this I got pulled over for having clear tail lights. I had to argue that they were stock tail lights and there was a defect from the factory that caused them to fade. I had to show that toyota was stamped on them to get out of it.

Depot lights are on ebay for 800 to under 250. You have to take your time and look through all the egay led lights for them but they are there. I plan on ordering a set after Christmas if that isn't one of my gifts from the wife.
Kustomautopartz is the seller. Here is a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=310362103770
