i have the 400 ive been thinking about trying to get a 430 but would there be a big difference in power? which would be easier to get parts for as far as performance upgrades? any preferences overall on 4.0 or 4.3?

I own both currently, and neither is better or faster than the other. The GS400 is more responsive and more rev happy, the GS430 is less responsive due to (drive by-wire) but the car has more torque so Its a wash.. Though they both perform the same, the characteristics are different (the feel)

GS400 = Feels Sporty (revs easy, higher) and Luxurious

GS430 = Feels more Luxurious, Smoother (less revy but has more Torque)

Its tough choice.. It depends on how much comfort/sport mix you like, is probably why I have both..

For me, the GS430 is my daily.. while my GS400 is my weekend car..

Edit: Parts are pretty much the same, though the GS400 responds to mods better than the GS430. If you really want to heavily mod get the 400, if you plan to do light mods or stay stock go with the 430.

^^I find that hard to believe i do almost 90 percent highway travel at 65 miles per hour and with the transmission on the GS300 revving at 3k i get only 22 at best. Does the 430/400 have different gearing? I wish we had a 6 speed.
