Did you try checking your lights while braking? On my GS it was one of my inner tails. It would light up normally, but when braking, it wouldn't light up.

I am having this same exact issue. I checked EVERY single bulb on the *** end of my car and every single bulb is working. It is driving me crazy. I am gonna have to take it to the shop, and pay them to find something I know I am missing.

Any ideas guys?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I found what it might be. Tag light. I will check it when I get home. Would the tag light being out cause that annoying yellow light to pop up on the dash?

slightly off topic, but still related. if you have a rear view camera put in, and they wire it in so they use the reverse light line as a trigger (control wire), it can set it off too. always ask them to take it from the proper wire, and not from the tail light.

It can be any light in the front or back, other than the sidemarkers.

Check your high mount brake lights. There are a few in there, I think 5 or 6. If even one of them goes out, it will trigger the dash light.

Check your high mount brake light. When I had my windows tinted it was on also. When they tint the window and spray water on the window for the tint it leaks into the light area and sometimes can temporarily short a light out. After a few days mines came back on. To check it take something that you can place between the seat and the brake pedal that will allow you to push the brake pedal down while you're out of the car (with the car in park of course). From behind the car you should be able to see which light is out. Mines was the bulb in the right corner of the high mount brake. The weekend I went to change it the light was off so I never changed it because when I checked it the light was working as normal.

Quick question - does the yellow indicator on the dash come on as soon you press down on the brake?

Yes it does. As soon as I press the brake pedal it comes on.; If I start the car and sit there without pushing any of the pedal it won't come on.

Sounds like a brake light is out somewhere. Try the method I typed and see which light is out or have someone press the brake for you so you can stand behind the car and check.

Check your 3rd brake light, there's like 5 little bulbs in there if I remember correctly. Also don't use cheap bulbs cuz they'll also set off the light!

Take the bulbs out and re-install them. I had this problem last week. For some stupid reason, when I changed the bulb, it didn't snap in all the way. This has happened to me twice so far.
