Default My side markers don't light up?

Is this a problem? My side markers don't light up in any situation. Both of them. Could it be that I have two busted bulbs?

did u touch the bulbs with your fingers when u installed them??

If not; if both are out possibly a fuse???

Take off your sidemarker and put another 194 wedge bulb in.

Everything is stock. I'm guessing it's the fuse.
Where is the sidemarker fuse located in the fusebox?

Try your Owner's Manual for Fuse Map.

I think it's in the passenger footwell (not under the hood).

Could one of your side marker lenses have cracked, allowing rain water to seep in an cause a short circuit which burned out the fuse.

Before being to quick to replace the fuse, I would ensure that there is no presence of water in the vicinity of your side marker bulbs.

my 2 cents.

sorry to bring up this thread from the dead, but my gs is experiencing this problem.

I believe the fuse for the side marker lights is also the fuse for the tail and parking lights, which work fine. So i'm thinking it's something other than the fuse. Anyone know what else I could try?

Mine don't work either! You're talking about the two front side-markers right? I just went outside and tried and neither of them work! Can anyone give us some help?

Post Side markers inop.

If your tail lights work its probably not the fuse. Check the bulbs first. Good luck.

Default Side markers work now!

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that my side marker lights work now. It actually was the bulbs themselves. I wouldn't have thought that was the problem since both of them were out.

Just wanted to let you guys know so you can sleep better knowing my side markers are now operational.

Hey. Mine light up, but they stay lit up when I turn my lights on. Are they supposed to blink when I use my turn signals? Anyone?

No, they are side markers, not turn signal indicators so no blinking

They aren't turn signals? That sort of sucks. Has anyone successfully changed those side markers into turn signals? Now that would be a real useful mod. My old Legend had headlights that wrapped around the front of the bumper; and within the headlight was a yellow part that would blink so that people on your left and right could see. The headlights on the GS are on the front of the car so only people in front of you can see. Not as functional in my opinion.

well that's the inherent design you can just stick with it. you can probably tap the turn signal off the turn signal lights from the front, i think that would work. just need to make sure the power is ok.

the jdm aristo they don't have side markers, but they have side turn signals between the front wheel well and the front door. it's a little square. you can get those too if you want
