Cellular Relay

Anyone ever have the stereo lose or get distorted on the left front speakers?

I know the cell phone relay (doesn't matter if ever installed, ALL GS's got it at least in 1998), interrupts the left front speakers and mutes the rest. (I used to work at Motorola who made the cell phone for Lex).

So what I am asking is WHERE is the relay located at? I need to find it and fix it.
