No problem, I was basically going to steer you in the direction of the above post, you need to go to the factory amp and unplug it, those plugs will match the harness you have. If you are running speaker level inputs into the preamp inputs of the factory amp it will work but you will get more distortion etc... Either way, glad you got it going...

Woohoo! It took me about 5hrs also to do this but the Pioneer 3300BT is in and everything worked on the first try. The trim off of ebay for about $11 shipped with brackets (which are the ones I used) matches virtually perfectly. I left the sub pre-amp rca jacks plugged into the new H/U but open on the other end and behind the glove box and the stock sub wires ready for the mini amp I ordered online.

As soon as I get that amp I will remove the stock one and cd changer and sell em for a few bucks. Im not an audio guy at all...but the install was pretty straight forward . These Pioneer AVH series units are pretty excellent for the money. Even with stock speakers, it sounds pretty impressive.

i unraveled the wiring from the amp to the radio area, but I still dont have any power. Do you guys have any idea? Do I need to switch the wires in the plugs around?

What is the color of the wire you are trying to plug in for power...also make sure you have a good ground.

I believe the power was blue with yellow stripes

The harness I bought didn't line up behind the radio but worked perfectly plugging into the plug that plugs into the amp behind the glove compartment.
