Unhappy ABS chirping noise

Hello all I have a 98 gs400 and I have a chirping noise coming from the ABS pump. Anyone have a fix for this or experience this yet

Thanks, Steven

never heard of chirps before. can you record it? if it's a never ending flatline noise, then it's the booster. (Very easy to replace) replace it with the 2001+ model if it's the brake booster.

I think its the ABS pump kicking in to maintain pressure. So im pretty sure im going to have to replace the entire brake booster/ABS system right there on the firewall.

Happens to me every so often.. then all of a sudden continuous beep like an alarm goes off and my vsc light comes on; ABS light; and the traction light all stay on only as long as the beep sound is on. And I hear that chirping sound like air is pumping?? I dunno but the brakes feel fine

Guys, there is plenty of information on here about the ABS issues that you have. Search the forums. Most of us have had this problem in one form or another.
