I have a 2000 GS 400 and I am looking to replace the factory system with a Pioneer Avic F90bt that I had from another vehicle. I really want everything to look as factory as possible so I would like to get a Mark Levinson faceplate. Anyone have any suggestions on where I can find one for a Pioneer Avic F90bt. I need it to be double din. Thanks

What I am trying to do is remove my factory deck and install a pioneer avic f90bt. I want it to look as factory as possible. That is why I am looking for the Mark Levinson fireplace instead of getting an aftermarket one. The aftermarket ones are black so that would throw the look off.

You'll never find a double din to match the mark lev' fireplace. lol. faceplate bro.

You've got to get a regular double din or the japanese double din kit and get it painted to match. I would source some 3m vinyl in brushed vinyl and get the double din matched and see how that fits. Either its vinyl or paint is what you'll have to do. To date, I do not know of any double din that is of the same color as the mark lev/sport design.

If has a 400, he could've done the conversion or bought a car with a conversion. Maybe he has a unicorn?

Either way, the one from carson (double din) apparently does match perfectly with the oem faceplates for air controls, I personally have used scosche and it has matched 100% and everyone compliments me on that.

AGAIN if he has a GS400 as he says he doesnt have a SD or ML....even a unicorn doesnt have these features. his interior/exterior colors have nothing to do with the OEM nav/stereo they offered in 2008. i HIGHLY doubt he converted it to have ML and doubtfully he converted to a SD unless he took the faceplate out of the SD....

u ignoring my PM BTW?

The unicorn was a joke.

He might have bought the car from someone who replaced the parts he's talking about that he might actually have. Do you live in a world where you doubt and fight everyone's comments? Chill out a bit bro.

I would just but the OEM Toyota Double DIN faceplate. Why reinvent the wheel? Even if you did manage to get an ML radio, you would have to separate the face from the radio, and then somehow custom mod the face to accept a Double Din opening. By the time you are all done cutting, filling, sanding, you will need to repaint and color match the face plate anyway. If you were going to go through all that trouble you might as well buy an aftermarket Double DIN trim and have it custom color matched. Or, just do it the easy way and buy the OEM Toyota Double DIN trim that comes with OEM mounting brackets as well.
